In this chornicle ,America's most famous groupie, Miss Pamela, becomes a reporter, interviewing other women (and one man) who have shared encounters with the famous (well some) names in rock and roll. Each chapter is a seperate story unto itself. The one thing I did notice as the book progresses, as Pamela wrote the book in chronological order; from the woman who spent some time with Elvis in the beginning of his career in the 1950s to one who spent time with Kid Rock forty years later, and all those in between; is how the less popular the rocker is, the less class the groupie seems to have. Just an observation. It just seems the innocence of those rock and roll loving girls of the 60s and 70s was totally lost in the following decades. Still this book is a fun and interesting look into the rock and roll scene and Pamela does a good job of telling it.Get more detail about Let's Spend the Night Together: Backstage Secrets of Rock Muses and Supergroupies.
