Home Recording For Musicians For Dummies Buy Now

....at least until I read Jeff Strong's book. I needed a book that would explain the basic elements of recording, mixing, and mastering. This book provided that, and then some, and at the same time managed to explain everything in a very clear and concise manner. Jeff takes the reader through all the stages of music creation, from choosing the type of recording studio (DAW vs a studio-in-th-box), micing techniques, MIDI basics, to the mixing and mastering phases, as well as how to get your music out to the masses (via internet streaming, CD production, etc). I bought this solely for the purpose of learning some basics in mixing and mastering...I was pretty ignorant when it came to things like panning, EQ, compression and signal processing. Not anymore. I actually know how to use EQ and Compression parameters now! Thanks, Jeff.Get more detail about Home Recording For Musicians For Dummies.
