7/09 Steen Eiler Rasmussen's "Experiencing Architecture" was my introduction to Architecture in the 1st semester of my 1st year (1964) in Architecture School. We were also assigned Robert Venturi's "Complexity and Contradiction in Architecture" during my 2nd sememster. While I do appreciate Venturi's work, I am still scratching my head over his maiden literary effort. Rasmussen's straight forward explanations and illustrations of form, space, volume and light sank into my eager but confused brain. It helped me understand what Architecture meant as an expression of civilization and culture. When I had the opportunity to teach an introduction to Architecture after I graduated, I was warned that Rasmussen's work required a college level mastery of English. If reading comprehension is a challenge, be forwarned.Get more detail about Experiencing Architecture, 2nd Edition.

Cheapest The Recording Engineer's Handbook, 2nd Edition
I hold a bachelors degree in audio engineering from American University in Washington, D.C. and certainly learned a lot there. However, I've used this book as a go-to time and time again for either things about which I was never quite clear or little details I may not have acquired about the tracking process. This book is very clearly written and easy to understand, yet possesses a wealth of detailed information about mic techniques and other important data crucial to the tracking session. I would recommend this book to ANYONE. A beginner who is considering pursuit of an audio engineering degree or certificate will definitely be one step ahead having read this book. The price also is very reasonable.
A great companion to this book is The Mixing Engineer's Handbook by the same author, Bobby Owsinski.Get more detail about The Recording Engineer's Handbook, 2nd Edition.

Low Price The Plain and Simple Guide to Music Publishing, 2nd Edition
This book is amazing. The author is able to communicate his knowledge in a manner which is entertaining and easy to grasp. In addition to ''giving information'', he also forewarns readers about the many pitfalls that writers may encounter when having their works published, which is extremely valuable information. Very helpful book for anyone wishing to learn about music publishing. I highly recommend it !Get more detail about The Plain and Simple Guide to Music Publishing, 2nd Edition.

The Mixing Engineer's Handbook, 2nd Edition Order Now
I have to say this book is pretty good. It doesn't go into crazy detail about equipment settings, but it does give you insight on how different engineers approach the mix down process. It was an easy read and I'm using a lot tips I learned from the book! I highly recommend this book if you're looking to learn how other mixers approach mixing.

Guitar For Dummies, 2nd Edition Buy Now
The CD was broken, we returned the product for exchange for a new book with a unbroken CD. You sent a email saying you received the book and broken CD, but never exchanged it for the return product. So we went to Books a million and purchased it there. You still owe us a refund for the price of a book that we returned to you and you never sent a exchange for. Not happy with Amazon at the moment.Get more detail about Guitar For Dummies, 2nd Edition.
