I have used and recommended "Guide to Sound Systems for Worship" since it was first introduced in 1990 as a training manual for fledgling audio techs. It is clear and simple to understand. However, because of it's age, it lacks information on modern hardware and techniques. Regardless of these lacks, it deserves to be in your library and in the tool kit of all new audio techs as a fundamental reference.
