As famously stated by designer Tony Duquette, "Less is a bore." Barry Dixon surely agrees, as his interiors are chock-full of interesting rooms, vignettes and individual objects of virtue. Not for minimalists, this book depicts wonderfully filled interiors that are carefully thought out without appearing to be artificial or contrived. The photography is outstanding. Various styles and themes are shown, but nearly all feature the interesting juxtaposition of new, vintage, and antique furniture and assessories.
